Tens of thousands of people float their problems away on a krathong - but create a sleepless night for the garbage collectors. But for garbage collectors, those beautifully decorated items are a big burden. This year marks an achievement in a successful campaign to deter people from using foam krathong. But it's the City Hall garbage collectors who are saddled with the burden, working against time to collect people's "bad luck". Only a small amount of money goes to the garbage collectors despite the demanding tasks they undertake.
